How Does a TRAC Work?
Let's assume you lease an $80,000 truck for 36 months. The truck value (residual) at the end of the 36th month is estimated up front to be $30,000. The difference is $50,000 which is the amount your monthly payment is based on, not the $80,000 sales price.

Traditional finance plans will determine your monthly payment on the full $80,000.
